Location: 22nd & P to 22nd & Seawall (Parade Route), ending at 26th and Santa Fe Place


Join us for the magical extravaganza of the Knights of Momus Grand Night Parade, set to dazzle the streets of Galveston on March 1, 2025.


Space is available to Momus MEMBERS and ONE guest on a non-transferable basis. Riders must be 21 years of age. Cost per rider this year will be $385.00.  Spots are limited and will be allocated upon payment on a first come first serve basis. No Momus Members may ride on Sponsor floats unless invited by the Sponsor.  All float riders are required to wear formal or float themed attire.  While on the floats good judgment and behavior is also required.


Parade details as well as parking and shuttle information will be provided closer to the parade date.

The Knights of Momus is the grandest and oldest Krewe supporting the social and civic efforts of Galveston’s historic Mardi Gras.

 

In 1867, just two years after the War Between the States, the citizens of Galveston proclaimed the Island’s first Mardi Gras celebration.
